If your home has mold, the debris that builds up in your duct system or air vents can often create an ideal environment for mold and other biological growth to continue to grow. The debris is providing the growth with a food source that mold needs to survive. Biological growth can be very dangerous if you are breathing it consistently. It can make someone very sick and can aggravate or intensify other health issues. If you happen to notice any growth in or around your vents, it might be time to terminate the source of the mold as well as get your entire duct work cleaned and sanitized.
At GSM Services we provide a full range of products, services, and solutions to treat any form of growth, mildew, or mold growth anywhere in the home. Here is how we are different:
Many duct cleaning companies use a shop vac and are only cleaning the top portion of the duct work. Here at GSM Services, we clean the entire duct system & our price includes a special duct disinfectant spray treatment. First, we inspect and clean the entire ductwork system, not just the air vents. We check that your ductwork is operating properly and has no tears or leaks. We use a machine that is specifically designed to make sure that every inch of your duct system is cleaned. Our machine is a high-pressure vacuum system. It consists of a large filter and a very long rod that is flexible that has rubber tassels on the end of it. As we are cleaning each piece of duct, the rubber tassels whip around to knock off any dust, dirt or debris that may be in attached to the ductwork. This debris and dust is vacuumed into our very large 3 tier filter so that nothing goes back into your home. After that we use a fine mist sanitizing solution that is sprayed throughout the duct system to help kill any viruses, bacteria, or spores. Then your ductwork is good to go!
